Khaled Elgabry (خالد الجابري) is an Egyptian music composer and producer based in Cairo. His work spans film, television, advertising and original music, with a focus on creating distinctive musical identities for visual stories.
Elgabry began his career in music production and commercial music before moving into film and television scoring. His first major scoring project came with the 2023 television series Batn El Hout, where he developed a sound combining electronic elements, experimental rhythms and Middle Eastern instrumentation.
Since then, he has composed music for a diverse range of Egyptian productions, including 6 Months, Welad El Shams, Nos El Shaab Esmo Mohamed, E'bal Andakou, Tallaqni, Ibn El Nady, Darwish and El King.
His process begins with understanding the story, its characters and its emotional world, before developing a musical language that supports the narrative. His work often combines electronic production, acoustic instruments, sound design and unconventional sonic elements.
Based in Cairo, Elgabry continues to work across film, television, advertising and personal music projects.
